What tenor sax brands are good for a beginner?

I have been looking on ebay for a tenor sax because I plan to learn how to play one at the end of March. My only problem is I don’t know which ones are good.

For a beginning tenor sax I would suggest going with the Yamaha, perhaps a student line model or the Yanagisawa tenor. If you are super serious about playing sax then go for one of the Selmer professional models. Be extremely careful about buying a musical instrument through internet sites like ebay.
